Job Summary
Operate Lathe and Mill machines, read micrometers and bore gauges, and perform set-ups to precise tolerances. Read and interpret blueprints and use C-mics/Tri-mics and calipers to verify part dimensions; indicate and machine to specified tolerances. Maintain and document parts in the company system, clock parts to locations, and complete required paperwork. Read and understand shop procedures and work instructions; check tolerances and perform first-piece and in-process inspections; properly maintain all assigned equipment; adhere to the time-in-location priority list. Must be able to read, speak, and write English; basic computer skills; willingness to learn the company computer system and adapt to overtime. 1st shift with multiple start times (Mon-Fri, varying hours) and overtime on weekdays and weekends; 3-5 years of experience preferred; HS Diploma or GED required.
Required Qualifications
- Must have manual machining experience with the Mill and Lathe
- Must speak, read and write the English language
- Should have basic computer software skills
- Prior work experience in conventional machining (Mill/Lathe) is helpful but not required
- Should be able to read blueprints
- Education / Experience Requirements: Must have H. S. Diploma or GED
- 3-5 years of experience or more
