Job Summary
Set up and operate manual engine lathes to fabricate hydraulic components, including shafts, pistons, and cylinder parts. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining processes. Measure and inspect machined parts using micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators to ensure accuracy and adherence to hydraulic system tolerances. Perform machining operations such as turning, threading, boring, facing, and tapering on hydraulic components. Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting; ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and stand for long periods. Shift is 7am-3pm (Mon-Fri) at York, PA location.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience operating manual engine lathes
