Job Summary
Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventative work on plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, and machinery systems. Inspect buildings to confirm safety standards and oversee grounds to ensure a functioning environment. Move furniture, equipment, and vehicles; deliver materials to off-site locations; and maintain light standards and display items in a ready-for-use status. Handle full shifts in various weather conditions while lifting up to 50 pounds. Norm Reeves Honda, Volkswagen, and Genesis operate three dealerships in Irvine, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate quickly and effectively any issues/solutions/and updates to team members and vendors
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at a time & stand on feet for up to 8 hours per day
- Must be able to handle a full shift of being active and working in various weather conditions
- Physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces
- Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools
- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
- Problem solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Have a general knowledge of maintenance procedures for mechanical and associated equipment including pumps, fans, pneumatic controls, pressure valves, compressors, air filtration and all other machines
- Minor troubleshooting and performance of preventative maintenance on plumbing, electrical, air conditioning and all other related systems
