Job Summary
Seasonal Manhole Rehab Laborer/Operator role performing trenchless rehabilitation of manholes and pipeline structures using CIPP lining systems. Responsibilities include applying specialized coatings and rehabilitation products to sewer and drain structures, entering permit-required confined spaces, accessing work areas via ladders to elevated and below-grade locations, transporting materials and equipment to job sites, and following safety protocols for outdoor construction and confined-space operations. Qualified candidates may have CDL Class A or B (increases hourly rate) and OSHA/HAZWOPER certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work in permit-required confined spaces (manholes, vaults, underground structures)
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and fitness-for-duty physical examination
- Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and ability to operate hand and power tools
- Willingness to work frequent overtime and travel to job sites as projects require
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B (increases hourly rate to $28.50)
- OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour construction safety certification
- HAZWOPER 40-hour certification for hazardous waste operations
- Prior experience with trenchless technology, CIPP lining, or sewer rehabilitation
- Previous experience with concrete work or construction trades
- CDL Class A or B (preferred)
- OSHA 10/30 certification (preferred)
- HAZWOPER 40-hour (preferred)
