Job Summary
Conduct thorough on-site vehicle condition inspections for dealer clients within an assigned territory, verifying VINs, mileage, and options while documenting exterior, interior, and mechanical components against Manheim inspection standards. Safely locate, start, move, and return vehicles on dealer lots, identifying damage or inoperable features to ensure accurate system entry. Build trust with dealers by educating them on marketplace value, adapting to daily appointment changes to maximize inspection volume and territory productivity. Prepare daily activity reports using Salesforce.com and collaborate with Wholesale Specialists to support client success. Maintain strict adherence to safety procedures and the NAAA Frame/Structure Damage Policy while working with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
- Ability to meet physical and mental demands of the role within required timeframes
- Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship
- Previous vehicle inspection experience
- Strong automotive knowledge (body and mechanical)
- 1 year of service with Manheim Inspections
- Must clear a pre-employment drug test
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs

- 0–1 years of automotive‐related experience
- Any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED
- 5 years' experience in a related field
- 1–2 years of automotive‐related experience
- 2–3 years of automotive‐related experience
- Any of these: High School Diploma or GED plus 3+ years of experience in a related field
- Any of these: any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED and 3 years of experience
- 7 years of experience in related field
- 2–3 years of automotive‐related experience strongly preferred
- 1 year of service with Manheim Inspections recommended
