Job Summary
Conduct thorough on-site vehicle condition inspections for dealer clients within an assigned territory, verifying VINs, mileage, and options while documenting exterior, interior, and mechanical components per Manheim standards. Safely locate, start, move, and return vehicles on dealer lots, identifying damage or missing parts. Build strong relationships with dealers through consistent quality and responsiveness, educating clients on marketplace value to drive inspection volume. Prepare daily activity and production reports using Salesforce.com, collaborating with Wholesale Specialists and peers to support client success. Adapt to changing daily appointments to ensure effective dealer coverage while maintaining safety and compliance with inspection policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
- Ability to meet physical and mental demands of the role within required timeframes
- Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship
- Previous vehicle inspection experience
- Strong automotive knowledge (body and mechanical)
- 1 year of service with Manheim Inspections
- Must clear a pre-employment drug test
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to work in a drug-free workplace
