Job Summary
Lead and mentor a BI analytics team to deliver data-driven analytics solutions for Lowe’s US operations, including design, development, and delivery of reports for the COA office. Responsible for automating processes, ensuring data accuracy and security across reporting platforms, and presenting insights to stakeholders. Collaborate with accounting teams across locations to ensure Inventory, Revenue, and Margin are reported accurately from operational and financial perspectives. Requires substantial technical knowledge across SQL, Teradata, Hadoop, Google Cloud Platform, Python, KNIME/Alteryx, Power BI, Power Apps, and related tools, with a focus on governance, documentation, and advanced analytics. 10+ years in analytics with at least 3+ years in leadership; Bachelor’s degree in relevant field; postgraduate in Finance/Business Analytics advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Analytics, Engineering or Business Intelligence
- Postgraduate in Finance/Business Analytics is an added advantage
- 10+ years of experience in the domain of Reporting & Analytics
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership/managerial role
- Proficiency in SQL (DDL & DML) including Joins, Partitioning, Updates, Stored Procedures, and query tuning
- Experience with relational databases and big data tools (Teradata, IBM DB2, Hadoop, Google Cloud Platform)
- Experience with analytical tools like Python (Pandas, NumPy, PyOdbc)
- Exposure to ETL tools like Alteryx and Knime
- Ability to create effective charts/visualizations with Power BI or similar tools
- Strong communication, problem-solving and project management skills
- Ability to guide team, manage work allocation, and deliver accurate reports
