Job Summary
Conduct class activities, assist teachers with students of varying language backgrounds and skill levels, and guide small groups through homework assignments. Manage student groups to ensure positive educational experiences while supporting diverse learning needs. Work collaboratively with credentialed teachers in LAUSD classrooms to facilitate Mandarin language development. This role offers a pathway toward a teaching career, with opportunities to transition into substitute teaching or classroom instruction.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese (speaking, reading and writing)

- Prior experience working with elementary school-aged students (K-5)
