Mandarin Chinese Language Instructor (Part Time)

Mandarin Chinese Language Instructor (Part Time) plans and facilitates beginner-level Mandarin instruction sessions under the Director of Educational Development. Responsibilities include meeting regularly with the Director, delivering group and/or 1:1 beginner Mandarin sessions, helping students develop study skills and complete homework/projects, maintaining consistent communication with the Director, modeling professional and appropriate behaviors, and performing additional duties as assigned. Key skills include strong Mandarin teaching/tutoring experience, ability to work with diverse students, excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities, discretion and flexibility, independent problem solving and critical thinking, and the ability to collect and analyze data to guide future instruction.
