Job Summary
Partner with the Hospital Manager to drive financial performance and general operations while cultivating a supportive team environment. Advance medical care by establishing protocols, overseeing quality of care, and mentoring staff to achieve best-in-class patient and client experiences. Grow the practice through innovative changes, community involvement, and confident decision-making that maximizes efficiency, productivity, and profitability. Manage time and tasks appropriately while leading employees through coaching, correcting, and motivating them to succeed.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university
- Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Tennessee (prior to starting at the site)
- Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
- A desire to progress veterinary medicine based on industry-accepted research, medical protocol and equipment advancement, and evolving methodologies and treatments
- A passion for continuous learning
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Makes decisions confidently and effectively
- Leads employees by coaching, correcting, developing, and motivating them to achieve success
- Manages time and tasks appropriately
- Models a professional and courteous manner with staff and clients
