Job Summary
Lead medical oversight at Adobe Animal Hospital by maintaining high standards of patient care, mentoring associate veterinarians, and fostering a collaborative team culture. Partner with management on staffing, scheduling, and workflow optimization while continuing hands-on clinical practice in GP, urgent care, and surgical settings. Elevate medical protocols and support associate development through coaching and performance reviews to ensure excellence across our AAHA-accredited facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) from an accredited veterinary school
- Strong leadership experience relevant to directing multiple departments in Emergency, ICU, and GP settings
- Proficiency with veterinary medical software and electronic medical records
- Ability to lead with empathy, clarity, and accountability
- Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Adaptability in a dynamic hospital environment
- Collaborative leadership style with a team-first mindset
- Ability to balance day-to-day priorities while remaining calm, approachable, and supportive—especially when the team needs direction
