Job Summary

Build rapport with clients by gathering information, listening to concerns, and empathizing with their needs. Perform physical examinations and diagnostic, medical, surgical, and dental procedures that deliver the highest quality care while minimizing patient stress. Communicate on topics such as pet diagnosis, treatment plans, preventive health care, and nutritional needs. Maintain client and patient medical records through established protocols. Assist in the development of the paraprofessional team to ensure exceptional client service and present a positive image of the hospital. Stay current on new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine. This role requires a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with one year minimum experience and licensure in good standing to practice in CO. Competitive annual base salary for fulltime: $120,000-$160,000 plus bonus based on experience as well as quarterly and annually leadership bonus incentives.

Required Qualifications

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in CO
  • Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding veterinary code of ethics
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Works collaboratively with hospital team members
  • Makes decisions confidently and effectively
  • Manages time and tasks appropriately
  • Models a professional and courteous manner with staff and clients
  • Commitment to ongoing educational development and growth
  • 1 year minimum experience required
