Job Summary
Lead environmental risk evaluations, permitting, and approvals for technology infrastructure and major capital projects by identifying requirements during site acquisition and managing regulatory agency interactions. Develop mitigation strategies for environmental risks, collaborate with architecture and engineering partners on master planning, and oversee federal and state-level report preparation. Serve as project manager, technical expert, and QA/QC reviewer to ensure quality and compliance while driving business development through proposal preparation and client relationship management. Monitor project performance, budgets, schedules, and health & safety protocols. This role supports ERM's Capital Project Delivery service line, working across the global network to share best practices for sustainable development in the technology sector.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, environmental science, biology/ecology, planning, program management, or a related field
- 4+ years of relevant experience in environmental permitting and/or due diligence
- Proven ability to manage complex projects, meet deadlines, and lead multidisciplinary teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing technical reports and presenting to clients
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships and thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment
- This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship

- Experience with permitting timelines, risk identification, and mitigation strategies
- Technical skills in wildlife or ecological surveys (e.g., wetland delineations, wildlife assessments)
