Job Summary
Lead all operations for a successful funeral home and cemetery, driving performance, developing talent, and ensuring exceptional, ethical care for families. Manage full P&L responsibility to optimize expenses and long-term investments while maintaining regulatory compliance and overseeing facilities. Build strong community relationships to expand market share through local marketing, outreach, and new revenue channels. Coach and mentor a high-performing team rooted in accountability and integrity. Own financial performance with a focus on sustainable growth and strategic decision-making. Requires a CA Cemetery Manager, Crematory Manager, and Cemetery Broker license, plus 5+ years of funeral home and cemetery management experience. Base salary ranges from $115,000 to $120,000 with significant annual and long-term incentives.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of funeral home and/or cemetery management experience
- Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer (or ability to reciprocate in California)
- Strong business acumen with P&L ownership experience
- A proven ability to lead teams and drive measurable results
- Experience in cemetery operations and sales
- A self-starter mindset with strong accountability and problem-solving skills
