Job Summary
Managing Investigator for Mintz Group’s Executive Due Diligence team. Role combines individual contributor work on sophisticated investigations with case management of routine cases, producing client-ready deliverables. Responsibilities include conducting advanced database searches and analyzing legal, corporate, and public records; synthesizing data into insightful reports; mentoring junior investigators; developing and refining investigative methodologies; ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and high-quality deliverables. Requires 4-7 years of investigative/due diligence experience, a bachelor’s degree, proficiency with Westlaw/Nexis, strong writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a hybrid setup. The position is based in Washington, DC or New York, with hybrid in-office and remote elements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is required
- 4-7 years of relevant work experience in investigations, risk advisory, or due diligence
- Proficient in using investigative databases such as Westlaw and Nexis
- Exceptional writing skills for client reports
- Attention to detail and adherence to firm guidelines
- Analytical thinking and ability to distill large information into actionable conclusions
- Experience in client-facing professional services preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Hybrid work setup requiring living in Washington, DC or New York
