Lead news and content planning for daily programming, breaking news, and major initiatives while reviewing content for accuracy, fairness, and compliance. Manage editorial workflows among producers, editors, reporters, and broadcast personnel to deliver high-impact stories, investigative reporting, and long-form projects. Contribute advanced production elements including scripting, fine editing, live coordination, and field equipment operation. Provide mentorship to less experienced journalists and collaborate across language services on global policy coverage. Maintain extensive knowledge of assigned subject matter, region, or policy area while meeting VOA standards for productivity, quality, and deadlines.
