Job Summary
Lead government relations and regional strategy for Boeing in Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, and Laos by coordinating with business units, functions, and subsidiaries to achieve strategic goals. Act as the focal point for these countries, developing country strategies to address business opportunities and issues while supporting the implementation of enterprise initiatives. Manage the Vietnam Office and Boeing Global point of contact for site issues, including office planning, entity management, budget, and governance. Identify and maintain relationships with critical local government stakeholders, senior executives, and regional organizations like the ASEAN Secretariat. Serve as a spokesperson to media and external audiences, ensuring the company is positioned as an integral part of local ecosystems. Provide market intelligence on geopolitical issues and align community and university relations across the region.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline
- Minimum of 15-20 years of relevant experiences in the area of general management, regulatory affairs, government relations, community leadership
- 15+ years of experience working with cross-functional or cross-business teams on significant projects, particularly where the majority of the team does not hardline report into the candidate
- Demonstrated ability to navigate a complex, matrixed organizational structure
- Proven leadership skills in multicultural, multinational organization(s)
- Exemplary relationship development/management skills
- Willingness to travel
- Relocation based on candidate eligibility
Desired Qualifications
- Masters in Business Administration, International Relations/Affairs or Aerospace Engineering
- Prior experience doing business in SE Asia and/or Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia & Laos
- Strong existing network across government, business and academia in Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia & Laos
- Strategy development and valuation skills/experience

- High level cross-cultural awareness and management
