Job Summary
Own all areas of operation including front office, housekeeping, engineering, and food and beverage across The Quoin Restaurant, Simmer Down, and The Quoin Rooftop, as well as weddings and events. Lead the development and execution of the annual strategic plan, budget, and operations plan while owning the property's full P&L and commercial strategy. Direct the positioning and profitability of three distinct F&B outlets to maximize financial performance and uphold MICHELIN Key standards. Serve as principal representative to ownership and asset-management partners, providing clear reporting and stewardship of the asset. Act as lead market ambassador building relationships with local businesses, civic organizations, and media to elevate the hotel's visibility. Collaborate with shared services partners to maximize performance and engage with companywide initiatives. Full-time, on-site, exempt position based in Wilmington, Delaware. Accommodate varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Experience leading a hotel with a strong F&B component
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in progressively senior management positions in the hospitality industry
- Top leadership role (General Manager, Hotel Manager, or Managing Director) at a hotel for at least two years
- Track record of achieving and maintaining superior results across all areas of the hotel
- Ability to articulate the underlying strategies that led to achievements
- Thorough knowledge of the hospitality industry
- Strong financial background
- Sound administrative skills
- Well-developed management skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead
- Passion for hospitality
- Ability to naturally connect with colleagues and guests
- Ability to inspire and motivate a team
