Job Summary
Develop long-term client relationships with tax and finance leaders at major F250 buyers and investors across utilities, real estate, and industrials. Build net new relationships through conferences, networking, and outreach while serving as a trusted advisor to help clients build their tax credit investing strategies. Act as an internal subject matter expert on renewable tax credits and partner with external advisors to navigate complex transaction items. Manage and mentor a team of junior professionals, overseeing their development, workflow, and quality of execution. Help shape and influence Crux's overall tax credit buyer strategy and lead the development of new offerings for strategic partners. Champion the creation and adoption of intellectual property while collaborating with product and customer success teams to maximize technology platform benefits. Requires 14+ years of experience in tax, accounting, legal, or tax advantaged investing; FINRA SIE, Series 79, and 63 required or sponsorship available. 25% travel required. Total cash compensation in the $500,000s to $700,000s plus equity.
Required Qualifications
- 14+ years of experience in tax, accounting, legal practice, and/or tax advantaged investing
- Proven track record building and owning long-term client relationships with tax and finance teams at large corporations from scratch
- Experience managing and developing junior team members
- Comfortable and confident with cold outreach, conference participation and public speaking
- Strong collaborative and team orientation
- Unrivaled relationship building skills; you build trust quickly and communicate clearly
- Willing to travel, 25%
- FINRA SIE, Series 79 and 63 required or willingness to obtain under Crux's broker-dealer sponsorship
