Job Summary
The Managing Director of Technology at Human Agency will lead technical delivery for enterprise clients, make architecture decisions, and build the engineering team while shaping AI strategies. Ideal candidates should have extensive experience with AI/ML systems in production, have successfully managed technical teams, and possess strong communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Key responsibilities include designing delivery systems, overseeing platform decisions, and owning technical execution in client engagements.
Required Qualifications
- Experience building and shipping AI/ML systems in production
- Experience hiring and leading a technical team of at least 5 people
- Ability to explain technical trade-offs to non-technical executives
- Strong opinions on AI architecture grounded in hands-on experience
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and engineering practices
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in scaling a startup or early-stage company
- Experience in a services or consultancy model
- A network of engineers you’ve worked with and would hire again
