Job Summary
The Managing Director of Technology will lead the technical side of Human Agency, overseeing client delivery and architecture design while building an engineering team. Responsibilities include developing a repeatable delivery model, making platform and infrastructure decisions, and shaping the company's AI strategy through hands-on experience. Candidates should have extensive experience in production AI/ML systems, team leadership, and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to executives.
Required Qualifications
- Built and shipped AI/ML systems in production
- Hired and led a technical team of at least 5 people
- Ability to explain technical trade-offs to non-technical executives
- Strong opinions on AI architecture based on hands-on experience
- Comfortable with cloud infrastructure and engineering practices
