Job Summary
Senior leadership role overseeing the academic, cultural, and operational performance of schools within the KIPP Capital Region portfolio. Directly manages six school principals and serves as a key driver of regional strategy, instructional excellence, and leadership development. Partners with the Chief Schools Officer to translate vision into priorities, systems, and supports for school leaders, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on coaching to ensure strong outcomes for students, families, and staff. Requires a bachelor’s degree and several years of principal-level experience; focuses on data-driven improvement, equity, collaboration, and continuous learning to strengthen school leadership and student achievement within a regional context.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- At least 3 years of experience as a principal in a high-performing school
- Demonstrated success managing and developing school leaders to achieve strong academic and cultural outcomes
- Strong instructional leadership, coaching, and people management skills
- Ability to work flexibly and effectively in a fast-paced, complex environment
