Job Summary
Own the combined P&L and client portfolio for AIOA's Construction and Manufacturing practices, leading a team of CFOs and managing capacity across both verticals. Set quality standards for job cost accuracy, inventory management, and ERP integration while serving as the escalation point for complex client situations. Define ideal client profiles, partner with business development to close qualified opportunities, and deliver strategic financial analysis and value workshops. Hire, develop, and retain talent across both practices, fostering a culture of commitment and foresight. Build external reputation through industry speaking and strategic partnerships with lenders, surety brokers, and industry associations. Stay current on construction and manufacturing accounting standards, prevailing wage regulations, and operational finance developments. Report performance to the EVP, Operations using EOS tools, and drive process improvements to elevate accounting delivery.
Required Qualifications

- Ability to define the ideal client profile for both Construction and Manufacturing Practices
- Ability to serve as a subject matter expert closer for qualified construction and manufacturing prospects
- Ability to deliver workbook analysis and Value Workshops to clients in both verticals
- Ability to develop and grow strategic partnerships in the construction sector (with surety brokers, lenders, CPAs, and construction attorneys)
- Ability to develop and grow strategic partnerships in the manufacturing sector (with lenders, private equity partners, CPAs, and industry associations)
- Ability to hire, develop, and retain talent across both practices
- Ability to manage capacity proactively across two practices
- Ability to hold CFOs accountable to their client outcomes, team health metrics, and EOS commitments
- Ability to create career pathways and development plans for CFOs, Senior Controllers, Controllers, Senior Accountants, and Accountants within both practices
- Ability to foster a culture of Commitment, Foresight, Relationships, Tenacity, and Teamwork across the combined Construction & Manufacturing team
- Ability to partner with Talent on hiring decisions for practice team(s)
- Ability to own the full combined P&L of the Construction and Manufacturing Practices (revenue, cost management, profitability, budget accountability)
- Ability to develop and execute the annual practice plan for each vertical (growth targets, hiring plans, service delivery goals)
- Ability to report on performance of both practices to the EVP, Operations through EOS tools including Scorecard, Rocks, and L10 meetings
- Ability to drive process improvements and best practices that elevate construction and manufacturing accounting delivery across the firm
- Ability to monitor the growth trajectory of each practice and provide input on the right timing and structure for eventually splitting Construction and Manufacturing into standalone business units
- Ability to build and maintain AIOA's external reputation in the construction sector (speaking at AGC, ABC, or other industry events and developing key referral partnerships)
- Ability to build and maintain AIOA's external reputation in the manufacturing sector (speaking at industry events and developing key referral partnerships)
- Ability to stay current on construction accounting standards, bonding requirements, prevailing wage regulations, and market trends
- Ability to stay current on manufacturing accounting standards, ERP trends, cost accounting best practices, and operational finance developments
- Ability to champion technology standards within both practices (ensuring proficiency with construction-specific and manufacturing/ERP platforms)
- Ability to identify and advocate for new service lines or delivery approaches that could strengthen either practice
- Ability to complete internal responsibilities including time tracking, capacity planning, and quarterly Rocks
- Ability to actively participate in All In One Accounting's Brand Ambassador program, representing mission and values
- Ability to uphold security practices to protect client assets and firm data effectively
- Experience with construction-specific issues
