Job Summary

Manage defined contribution plan relationships for 40–50 clients with $10–40M in assets, acting as the primary contact to lead, educate, and resolve issues for Plan Sponsors and Advisors. Develop positive internal and external partnerships to facilitate investment reviews, discuss legal and design alternatives, and implement Fidelity solutions while differentiating our approach from competitors. Conduct in-person and phone meetings with key decision-makers, coordinate internal resources for analysis, and assist with plan corrections, operational defects, and contribution inquiries. Maintain consistent contact with client leaders, anticipate concerns proactively, and ensure satisfaction through consultative problem-solving. This role requires a Series 7 and 63 license within 3–6 months, 3+ years of retirement plan experience, and involves approximately 35% travel. Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model.

  • Ability to make detailed plans and preparations for client meetings in partnership with the Plan's Advisor
  • Ability to accurately plan, influence, and implement Fidelity solutions to address needs
  • Ability to differentiate Fidelity's benefits approach against competitive benefit solutions
  • Ability to facilitate discussions with clients regarding legal, regulatory and design issues across the plan
  • Ability to consult with clients and their advisors on qualified and potentially nonqualified plan design alternatives
  • Ability to coordinate internal resources to provide analysis and recommendations to clients on design alternatives
  • Ability to analyze investment architecture and provide appropriate alternatives in partnership with the Plan's Advisor
  • Ability to identify key drivers and maintain consistent formal/informal contact with key client decision makers
  • Ability to actively facilitate Investment Review meetings in partnership with the Plan's Advisor
  • Ability to work closely and actively lead discussions with Investment Consulting to build effective investment strategies
  • Ability to assist Plan Sponsors with plan corrections, resolving operational defects, PSW navigation, providing plan and participant literature, and contribution inquiries
  • Ability to provide problem resolution on behalf of clients to produce a satisfactory outcome
  • Ability to act as the lead associate for the Book of Business with supporting functions
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships internally
  • ~35% of travel
  • 100% onsite presence (current expectation for this role)
