Job Summary
Managing Counsel - M&A Lawyer at Fiserv provides strategic legal support focused on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, minority investments, warrants, joint ventures, and other equity arrangements. You will structure, draft, review, and negotiate transaction documentation; lead due diligence; identify and manage legal and regulatory risks; and respond to legal and business questions arising from corporate activities. The role requires 5+ years in corporate law, experience with public company matters, ABA-approved JD, and an active US license, with on-site work in Milwaukee, WI. Collaboration with business leaders, internal stakeholders, and external advisors to align legal strategy with business objectives is essential, as is the ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from ABA-approved law school
- Active license to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction (or ability to become licensed)
- 5+ years of experience practicing corporate law including mergers and acquisitions and related complex transactions
- Experience advising on public company matters
- Ability to work on-site in Milwaukee, WI (on-site schedule Monday–Friday)
