Job Summary
Lead and contribute to environmental, remediation, and water-resource projects as a Managing Consultant, Scientist (Hydrogeology) by developing and interpreting 3D hydrogeologic and groundwater flow models (e.g., MODFLOW, MT3D, MODFLOW-USG/MODFLOW 6), performing catchment analyses and pumping-test interpretations, planning field programs, and delivering high-quality technical deliverables and client-ready reports. Collaborate with GIS specialists to produce maps and visualizations, support diverse projects across mining, water supply, energy, and manufacturing, and advance modeling capabilities while adhering to safety protocols. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Hydrogeology/Geology, 4+ years of hydrogeology experience, modeling proficiency, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel; salary range $83,430–$124,245 with potential bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hydrogeology or Geology
- 4+ years of hydrogeology experience including groundwater modeling
- Hands-on experience with MODFLOW/MT3D and newer platforms such as MODFLOW-USG or MODFLOW 6
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills; ability to produce high-quality technical reports
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced consulting environment
- Driver's License Required (ability to travel to client locations)
