Job Summary
Senior Managing Consultant role in Ramboll's Environment and Health practice focusing on global M&A Transactional Due Diligence. Responsibilities include managing environmental due diligence projects for industrial/private equity clients, coordinating Phase I ESAs and compliance reviews, supporting permitting, reporting and record-keeping, developing proposals and cost estimates, managing budgets and client communications, reviewing site investigation reports, and leading client discussions. The team emphasizes collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning, with flexible work arrangements and a commitment to sustainable solutions. Qualifications include a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant environmental discipline and 7+ years of Phase I ESA/compliance experience, plus knowledge of ESG-related areas and ASTM E1527-21 standard.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in a relevant environmental discipline (e.g., geology, environmental or chemical engineering, environmental science)
- At least 7 years of experience performing Phase I ESAs and environmental compliance reviews
- Experience developing proposals and cost estimates for transactional due diligence projects
- Experience in analysis of investigation and remediation of contaminated sites
- Knowledge of ESG, product stewardship and safety, health and safety, PSM, DOT, and/or international regulations a plus
- Environmental Professional as defined by ASTM E1527-21 Standard
- Ability in performance of Phase I ESAs and compliance reviews of complex industrial sites
