Managing Consultant - Energy Supply Chain (IT Programs)

Job Summary
Conduct deep analysis of quantitative and qualitative data to synthesize results for client strategic procurement and capital project decisions. Perform market research to assess supply and demand factors and support bidding processes for large capital project contracts, including pricing analysis and bidder negotiations. Manage client IT and digital program sourcing, vendor selection, and contract structuring while overseeing junior team members to drive successful project execution. Coordinate with client supply chain management, PMOs, and engineering teams to implement procurement solutions using WoodMac Energy Intelligence Platform software tools. Manage internal and client teams as responsibilities grow, requiring 60-80% travel time.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree with focus in engineering, science, supply chain or business
- 5+ years in a Consulting, Supply Chain, Operations, or Engineering function
- Experience within the Power & Renewables and/or Oil & Gas sectors
- Exposure to IT or digital program environments
- Exceptional analytical, problem solving, and time management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Desire to build trust with your client
- Proven success contributing to team-oriented environments
- Demonstrates judgement, maturity, and understanding of client challenges and constraints
- Comfortable working alongside client IT, PMO and engineering stakeholders
- Willingness to travel 60- 80% of the time
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree
