Job Summary
Managing Consultant in air quality compliance & permitting with Ramboll. Lead technical oversight on complex air quality projects, including review of local, state, and federal regulations, emissions estimation, and air dispersion modeling. Responsible for maintaining client relationships, delivering high-quality reports and permit applications, EPCRA Tier II and TRI reporting, and guiding consultant-level staff. Proven ability to interpret environmental regulations, communicate findings, and manage multiple deliverables across projects. Strong emphasis on collaboration, learning, and a supportive, inclusive team culture. Requires a B.S./M.S. in a relevant engineering or science discipline and 9+ years of air quality experience. Hybrid work options available across multiple preferred locations in the Northeast United States.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. or M.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering or science discipline (air quality course work is a plus)
- 9+ years of air quality related experience
- Strong computing skills including high level use of spreadsheets and word processing
- Strong written/verbal communication, problem-solving and organization skills
- Demonstrated capabilities in understanding, interpreting, and applying environmental regulations to real-world situations
