Job Summary
Managing Attorney to lead litigation operations at Zwicker & Associates, P.C. in Round Rock, TX. Responsibilities include managing a portfolio of accounts, supervising litigation staff and associate attorneys, mentoring and training, enforcing production and compliance requirements, reviewing and drafting pleadings and motions, liaising with client and firm departments to ensure compliance with client expectations and regulatory rules, advising on state-specific laws, and traveling to courtrooms as needed. Requires admission to the Texas Bar, 5+ years of civil litigation experience in a high-volume environment, and previous management experience; base salary $130,000 per year with bonus potential. Strong emphasis on ethics, process improvement, and effective communication; proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Required Qualifications
- Admitted to practice law and in good standing in Texas
- Minimum five years of civil litigation experience in a high-volume environment
- Debt collections experience (strongly preferred)
- Previous management experience (strongly preferred)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of professionalism
- Strong commitment to ethics and compliance standards
- Collaborative team player
- Proficient computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Be able to read and comprehend position-specific documents and correspondence
- Be able to regularly interact and communicate in a common language with (or to) individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing
- Be able to operate a computer, phone, or equivalent device
- Be able to complete a minimum of a 40-hour flexible workweek schedule
- Be able to travel to various courtrooms within the branch office footprint as required
