Job Summary
Own the state P&L by hitting fee and case volume goals while aligning costs with growth. Manage case outcomes across the full lifecycle from pre-suit through litigation, trial, settlement, and file closure. Lead litigation and trial strategy for Louisiana, personally handling complex, high-value cases to trial. Drive settlement performance toward the firm's 60-to-90-day target window. Recruit, develop, and retain attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to build a culture of accountability. Execute firm-wide standards while adapting operating cadences for your market. Ensure full legal, ethical, and compliance oversight across every function. Report to the COO with regular state performance updates and data-driven KPI tracking.
Required Qualifications
- Active bar admission in Louisiana
- Minimum 7 to 10 years of plaintiff personal injury experience
- Extensive experience handling cases from inception through trial and resolution
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
- Strong litigation skills, including depositions, motion practice, mediation, and trial
- Experience handling motor vehicle, premises liability, and personal injury matters
- A genuine business mindset, with comfort owning P&L, metrics, and operational accountability
