Job Summary
Managing Actuary, P&C (Reserving) will lead day-to-day project management for self-insured clients, review and validate technical analyses, and mentor staff. Responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality exhibits and written reports to present findings and recommendations to clients, and for fostering career growth through mentorship. Can be based in Atlanta, Charlotte, Houston, or Philadelphia, with options to reside in the southern/eastern U.S. and to engage in a broad range of actuarial projects including reserving, pricing/ratemaking, predictive modeling, economic capital modeling, and loyalty programs. The role emphasizes client communication, leadership, and delivering impactful insights to clients.
Required Qualifications
- ACAS/FCAS
- 10+ years of consulting experience focused on Property and Casualty clients (self-insureds, captives, and (re)insurers)
- expertise in reserving
- leadership and employee management
- strong client communication and engagement skills
- ACAS/FCAS designation
