Job Summary
Assist teacher or Coordinator in all areas of work, create and maintain a safe learning environment with individual or small group monitoring of students, provide structures to the environment for student success, understand and facilitate a safe culture in the classroom, motivate students for maximum learning, participate in faculty meetings and professional development, provide consistent structure and routines, and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or Campus Leadership.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working with children (approved by employing superintendent)
- 6+ months of experience in public or private school (preferred)
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literacy
- Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships
- Responds to responsibilities with following safety and classroom procedures
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
