Job Summary
Manager, Youth Basketball leads and coaches camps/clinics and on-court programming to grow youth participation and revenue for Cavs Youth Sports across Northeast Ohio. Responsible for logistics, staffing, inventory, game-day activations, partnerships, and cross-functional coordination to deliver engaging youth development experiences. Supports program development through market research, trend knowledge, and collaboration with local youth organizations, facilities, and tournaments. Emphasizes equity and access for girls and underrepresented athletes, integrates age-appropriate skill development and injury prevention principles, and coordinates coaching staff scheduling and payroll. Requires strong organizational and communication skills, willingness to travel regionally, and availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 4+ years of experience in coaching, operations, or community engagement preferred.
- Experience working directly with girls ages 4-18 in a positive, youth-development or athletic coaching environment.
- Service-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to youth development.
