Job Summary
Manager, Work-Based Learning oversees internship coordination and all Work-Based Learning opportunities for students in Pre-ETS, Project Search, and transition programs. Responsibilities include teaching, counseling, and supporting adolescents/young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to maximize independence through skill development and pre-vocational training; provide person-centered case management with families, employers, and community providers; secure and steward community-based WBL sites; support student orientation/onboarding to WBL placements; assess progress toward WBL goals; and conduct evaluation/reflection with students, support teams, and WBL supervisors. Requires adaptability, strong communications and relationship-building, travel, and ability to work evenings/weekends as needed. Employment contingent upon state accreditation; office-based with local travel and collaboration across program areas.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years' experience or employment in job coaching, counseling, or special education; or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field such as rehabilitation, counseling, social work, psychology, education, human resources, business administration, or economics from an accredited college or university and one year of experience as described above.
