Job Summary
This role involves managing an international team responsible for executing the Applied Materials Silicon Product Group Global Freight and Transportation network. Key responsibilities include developing transportation strategies, leading performance management meetings, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Ideal candidates will have strong people management skills, proven experience in logistics operations, and a deep understanding of freight and transportation management principles. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5-8 years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, logistics operations, transportation management, supply chain, or related field
- Demonstrated experience in leading logistics projects and new implementations
- Minimum 5-8 years relevant operations experience in Transportation and Logistics disciplines
- At least 5 years’ experience in Logistics Service Providers management
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in logistics service providers management
- Knowledge in supply chain management
- Ability to demonstrate high sense of urgency
- Strong understanding and market insights of Global Freight and Transportation
