Job Summary
Lead the assigned unit by protecting the Whataburger brand, scheduling training, and ensuring a clean, safe, and energy-efficient operation. Drive sales growth by utilizing the sales and marketing plan to set customer service goals, initiating suggestive sales, and maintaining accurate payroll and inventory records. Manage team development through performance evaluations, individual development plans, and on-the-spot coaching while addressing policy violations and safety incidents. Achieve budgeted Gross Operating Profit, control labor expenses, and conduct daily audits of sales, food, and labor. Ensure all hiring, orientation, and end-of-day paperwork are completed accurately.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must have the ability to stand during entire shift.
- Ability to read (Orders on tickets, Menu Board, receipts, etc.)
- Frequent contact/immersion of hands in water, cleaning and sanitation solutions, meat products, poultry products, seafood and produce items.
- Frequent washing of hands.
