Job Summary
Lead a team of hourly staff members by providing daily direction, coaching, and mentorship to enhance performance and satisfaction. Manage daily store operations by coordinating production, staffing based on forecasts, ensuring proper opening and closing procedures, and maintaining high service standards through quality checks. Deliver excellent customer service by greeting clients, identifying needs, selling services, and resolving concerns to build loyalty. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment while performing essential functions of all hourly positions, including equipment troubleshooting and inventory management. Complete regular audits, administrative tasks, and safety protocols while adhering to Waterway policies. Work a 45-hour week across five locations in the Cleveland area, rotating through various shifts including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid drivers' license
- Associate's degree or above (or a current college senior)
- At least 2 years' experience in any of the following: Supervisory or management experience, preferably in a retail or hospitality setting; Professional Sales (B2B or B2C); or Military Leadership
- Ability to work a retail schedule (5 of 7 days, 45 hours, including weekend and holidays)
- At least 16 years of age
- Authorization to work in the US and not require sponsorship now or in the future
- Ability to work outdoors year-round, and be exposed to wide temperature variations, sunshine, wet weather (rain, snow), humidity, wet surfaces, gasoline and exhaust fumes, machinery and moving parts, and brief exposure to car wash tunnel noise
- Ability to perform periods of extended standing, bending, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, drive vehicles, reach above and below shoulder level
- Ability to complete tasks at a fast pace, sustain consistent physical effort, sustain continuous and prolonged standing and movement
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and maintain a calm and professional disposition in all circumstances
- Far and near visual acuity, peripheral vision and depth perception
- Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech from other sounds (e.g., alarms, horns, vehicles, and equipment)
- Ability to fluently speak and understand English when communicating with other team members, managers, and customers for business related purposes
- Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance
- Ability to work as assigned schedule which may be irregular and include weekends, extended hours, overtime, and holidays
