Manager, Warehouse Operations

Job Summary

Oversee inbound processing, receiving, put away, and returns to achieve operational efficiency and safety. Direct a team of supervisors and approximately 50 associates across Inbound and Quality/Inventory Control functions to ensure safe, accurate, and timely receipt, storage, and distribution of medical products. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency while managing operating budgets, labor expenses, and site financial metrics. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders including HR, Quality & Regulatory Affairs, and Transportation to resolve issues, drive operational effectiveness, and ensure compliance with FDA, DEA, OSHA, and other regulatory standards. Adjust staffing plans and operational priorities to meet changing customer demands and business requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or supply chain operations
  • Proven experience leading supervisors and large employee populations in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; experience utilizing Pivot Tables, data analysis, and reporting tools
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems such as SAP, Manhattan, or similar platforms
  • Demonstrated success leading LSS continuous improvement initiatives, process optimization projects, and operational excellence programs
  • Strong understanding of distribution, logistics, inventory management, and warehouse operations
  • Experience operating within FDA, DEA, OSHA, or other regulated environments
  • Knowledge of material handling equipment, warehouse workflows, and labor management practices
  • Strong understanding of process flow, inventory control, quality systems, and workplace safety principles
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and drive results in a dynamic environment
  • Strong leadership, coaching, team-building, and cross-functional collaboration skills with a focus on employee engagement and development
  • Travel up to 10%

Desired Qualifications
