Job Summary
Manage warehousing functions including shipping/receiving, storage of raw materials and finished goods, and special projects. Oversee stock control, process all order types and system transactions, and produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports. Direct daily production and staffing plans to meet customer requirements while continuously improving safety, waste, efficiencies, and cost performance. Develop and maintain cost models, standard procedures, and work-saving measures through manufacturing operations. Coordinate recruitment, hiring, and onboarding; coach staff on best practices and performance. Communicate regularly through plant-wide and departmental meetings, arrange customer visits to monitor service levels, and facilitate corrective action follow-ups. Create goals, objectives, and timelines; ensure compliance with quality, labor, environmental, and safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of warehouse, production, and/or logistics experience to include supervisory or managerial experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility
- High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 9 years of warehouse, production, and/or logistics experience to include supervisory or managerial experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility
- Required to lift and move up to 25 lbs
- Intermediate skill in the use of business software (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook)
- Demonstrated experience in establishing, and operating within, cross-functional teams as well as the ability to significantly integrate within corporate and customer organizations
- Good written and oral skills
Desired Qualifications
- Warehouse Management experience
- Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of warehouse, production, and/or logistics experience to include supervisory or managerial experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility
- Intermediate skill in the use of a Warehouse Management System (WMS) such as Softeon or SAP
- Intermediate skill in the use of a Transportation Management System such as Oracle (OTM)
- Skilled in communicating a compelling vision of the future
- Experience with prodcution management or work order systems
- Bilingual Spanish
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Experience working with all levels and functions within the Company
