Job Summary

Lead the integration of broadcast requirements for road course events, including the Marathon and Road Cycling, by developing comprehensive operational plans for mobile production platforms and RF transmission infrastructure. Coordinate complex city logistics for aerial and ground coverage patterns while working with technology partners to ensure seamless audio splits, timing data, and redundancy. Facilitate venue site surveys for OBS production teams and Media Rights Holders, manage the exchange of deliverables, and support World Broadcaster Meetings. Liaise closely with OBS, IOC, IPC, and LA28 functional areas to align broadcast needs with venue design and operational plans. Collaborate with external stakeholders and consultants to enable broadcast services leading up to and throughout the Games. Available for onsite work in Downtown Los Angeles, including evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak periods.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience
  • 7+ years of experience in broadcast production and operations
  • Significant portion dedicated to managing large-scale road course events (e.g., marathons, cycling races) or similar complex, mobile live productions
  • Experience working international broadcast organizations providing global coverage
  • Experience working with a diverse range of stakeholders and proven success at building excellent working relationships
  • Experience working across multiple functional areas
  • Available to work onsite in our Downtown Los Angeles-based office
  • Ability to work efficiently in an open cubicle environment
  • Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak event periods
  • Ability to perform other duties as required; including operational responsibilities during the Olympic and Paralympic Games

Desired Qualifications

  • Significant experience in broadcast or event management for road courses
  • Strong grasp of how broadcast needs are integrated into every phase of planning
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally to communicate requirements for Games-time broadcasters and aligning internal stakeholders to integrate those requirements into venue design and operational plans
  • Ability to collaborate across all internal departments, external stakeholders, partner entities, and consultants to enable and deliver broadcast services in the lead up to the Games Period and throughout the Olympic and Paralympic Games
