Job Summary
Develop and execute procurement strategies to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely material availability across all DC locations. Identify, onboard, manage, and negotiate with vendors to build strong supplier partnerships while overseeing Purchase Orders, contracts, and approvals. Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with warehouse teams, and manage GRN processes, invoice verification, and vendor payments. Analyze data to identify cost-saving opportunities and generate reports tracking supplier performance and policy compliance. Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Inventory, and Category teams to ensure smooth execution. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or MBA with 5–8 years of FMCG or manufacturing procurement experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial) or MBA from a Tier-1/Tier-2 institute
- 5–8 years of experience in Procurement, Sourcing, or Supply Chain functions within FMCG, Food, or Manufacturing industries
- Strong knowledge of procurement, vendor management, inventory planning, and supply chain operations
- Excellent negotiation, commercial management, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, ERP systems, and procurement analytics
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple vendors, priorities, and timelines in a fast-paced environment
