Manager, Value Stream

Job Summary
Value Stream Manager leading manufacturing operations for one or more plant value streams in Costa Rica, driving Lean initiatives, daily order execution, and workforce development. Partners with cross-functional teams to optimize production, staffing, and equipment utilization; manages P&L, cost drivers, and continuous improvement focused on FPY, DART, and efficiency. Responsible for supervision of staff, onboarding and training, safety compliance, and cross-cultural team leadership across multiple shifts. Requires ability to travel domestically and internationally to collaborate with customers and commercial teams; applies problem-solving methodologies (8D, DMAIC, PPS, A3) and applying materials science concepts to MedTech innovation. Strong English communication skills (C1) and a track record of building relationships and delivering cost-effective, high-quality production performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supervisory and leadership roles
- Experience in the medical device industry or knowledge of industry standards is a plus
- Advance written and verbal English communication skills (C1)
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally
- Proficient in problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, DMAIC, PPS, and A3
- Strong relationship-building, influencing, and persuasion skills
