Job Summary
Manager, Value Stream Cryo Operations leads cryopreservation, storage and movement of CAR-T patient materials at the Summit, NJ facility. Drives team adherence to cGMPs and SOPs, oversees production records and logbooks, performs BRR reviews, ensures ALCOA+ documentation, and backfills as needed. Develops technical expertise in CAR-T manufacturing, provides production scheduling input, hires and mentors staff, conducts regular 1:1 coaching, and leads weekly Tier and performance-review meetings. Collaborates with Quality, Warehouse, Supply Chain and Manufacturing Science & Technology to sustain compliant processes, drives deviations and CAPAs, and supports continuous improvement. Requires hands-on CAR-T GMP manufacturing experience, clean-room work, and ability to work night shifts and in a bio-safety environment. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 5+ years of GMP manufacturing experience
- 2 years minimum of cell therapy manufacturing experience
- 2 years minimum of leadership experiences
- Must be able to interact within a clean room environment
- Will work in areas with exposure to vapor phase liquid nitrogen
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and shift structure
