Job Summary
Manage and deliver high-quality technical accounting and financial reporting engagements for publicly traded and private companies, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, SEC, and SOX 404 requirements. Develop internal control frameworks aligned with COSO and lead projects across renewable energy, retail, banking, and technology sectors. Review service revenue recognition, manage ERM programs, and oversee GRC system implementations like Archer and Workiva. Lead blended onshore and offshore teams, provide mentorship to junior members, and act as the primary client contact for deliverables and issue resolution. Oversee engagement planning, budgeting, and billing while identifying cross-sell opportunities. Represent the firm in client meetings and industry forums. Travel to client locations approximately 30% of the time, with an option to telecommute within the U.S. Supervise three subordinate employees.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Accounting, or a related field
- five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related position
- demonstrable knowledge of SOX 404 compliance
- demonstrable knowledge of internal controls over financial reporting based on rules applicable for different countries
- demonstrable knowledge of GRC tool implementation (Archer, Workiva)
- demonstrable knowledge of IPO readiness assessment
- demonstrable knowledge of IFRS accounting advisory
- demonstrable knowledge of Chart of Accounts implementation
- demonstrable knowledge of finance shared services & finance transformation
- demonstrable knowledge of KPI & Dashboard implementation
- demonstrable knowledge of Power BI
- demonstrable knowledge of Corporate Governance
- demonstrable knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management
- Travel to unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S., approximately 30%, as required
- Supervise three (3) subordinate employees
