Job Summary
Manage initial risk assessment, underwriting and credit analysis for new investments in alignment with business risk appetite and policies; mentor junior team members and support their professional growth; identify and drive process improvements to increase efficiency. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience with at least 3 years in underwriting, asset management, or portfolio management in affordable housing or commercial real estate; Master’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, or related field preferred with 5+ years of experience. Strong financial modeling and credit analysis skills; leadership, communication, and ability to work independently and within a team; capability to navigate complex problem solving and drive to a consensus. The role includes training and mentoring, stakeholder collaboration, and ongoing risk management responsibilities across the UWPLM function.
