Job Summary
This role oversees the coordination and movement of fixtures, equipment, materials, and supplies to project sites to ensure execution aligns with timelines and budgets. It provides tactical and strategic support in transportation planning, vendor management, performance tracking, and issue resolution, partnering across Store Development, Construction, Procurement, Distribution Centers, and external logistics. Responsibilities include establishing transportation metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with policies and OSHA safety rules. The position requires cross-functional leadership, training of floor associates on standard operating procedures, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities to support efficient shipments and inventory accuracy.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with WMS or similar systems
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access
- Strong math skills and attention to detail
- Problem-solving and initiative
- Effective communication (verbal and written)
- Leadership and coaching abilities
- Ability to train and develop staff
- Inventory and material handling
- Office/Distribution Center operations understanding
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends
