Job Summary
Lead and oversee end-to-end transport operations, ensuring operational KPIs are met while optimizing costs through effective planning and continuous improvement initiatives. Manage day-to-day transportation activities, develop transport plans, and monitor daily dispatch and delivery schedules to ensure timely, efficient delivery of goods. Oversee fleet and vendor performance, resolve operational issues, and implement contingency plans to minimize service disruptions. Develop transport supervisors, planners, and drivers; set performance objectives and foster a culture of safety and accountability. Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations, investigate incidents, and support internal and external audits. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and customer service through technology and best practices.

- Lead, coach, and develop transport supervisors, planners, dispatchers, and drivers
- Set performance objectives
- Conduct regular performance reviews
- Ensure sufficient manpower planning
- Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations
- Promote safe driving practices
- Investigate transport incidents or accidents
- Ensure all transportation records and documentation are accurate and up to date
- Support internal and external audits related to transportation operations
