Job Summary
Lead and oversee end-to-end transport operations, ensuring operational KPIs are met while optimizing costs through effective planning and continuous improvement initiatives. Manage day-to-day transportation activities, develop transport plans, and optimize delivery routes to maximize vehicle utilization. Monitor daily dispatch, delivery schedules, and transport performance, resolving operational issues and implementing contingency plans to minimize service disruptions. Oversee fleet and vendor management, ensuring vehicle compliance and managing relationships with third-party logistics providers. Develop and manage the transportation budget, analyze transport data, and recommend improvements to enhance productivity. Lead, coach, and develop transport supervisors, planners, and drivers, fostering a culture of safety and accountability. Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and support internal and external audits. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance transport efficiency and customer service.
