Job Summary
Guide a team of learning professionals in designing and delivering corporate training strategies for technical, trades, construction, and customer service functions. Lead enterprise-wide initiatives to ensure workforce capability, oversee the Learning Management System for regulatory compliance, and develop safety and competency programs aligned with industry standards. Collaborate with operational leadership to identify skills gaps, establish metrics for training effectiveness, and manage internal and external instructors. Maintain relationships with industry partners to deliver programming aligned with best practices. Requires a Bachelor's degree and six years of experience in training development within a regulated environment. Full-time permanent role with a salary range of $94,570 - $135,617.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education, business, human resources, organizational development or a related field
- Six (6) years of related experience in training and development, workforce development, technical training, competency management or a related business function
- Experience leading people, programs or cross-functional initiatives, preferably in a utility, energy, construction, trades or regulated environment
- Knowledge of adult learning and education principles, including needs assessment, program design, development, implementation, competency assessment, regulatory compliance, and learning evaluation
- A Class 5 Driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Certificate in Adult Education, or similar education
- Experience with corporate Learning Management Systems
- Travel away from bid headquarters may be required on occasion
